Realme unveiled the GT Neo3 in China earlier today, with two variants: a standard GT Neo3 and a 150W UltraDart charging version. Both versions of the phone are equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100 chipset and 50MP main cameras.
In the front, there’s a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is HDR10+ certified and includes an independent display chip that should smooth out frame rates in demanding games and, in some cases, reduce power consumption.
The 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage are included in MediaTek’s new 5nm Dimensity 8100. The 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with OIS is the star of the camera department. An 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro lens are also included. Realme UI 3.0, which runs on top of Android 12, takes care of the software.
Realme GT Neo3 Charging and Battery
The best is saved for last: the Realme GT Neo3 features 80W fast charging, which can charge its 5,000 mAh battery from empty to full in just 32 minutes. The included 80W charger is compatible with older Realme phones that charge at slower speeds and supports the SVOOC standard.
The new 150W UltraDart charging, which charges the phone’s 4,5000 mAh battery from 0 to 50% in just 5 minutes, is even more impressive. Realme uses multiple boost charge pumps to increase the current flowing into the phone in order to achieve these results.
Realme has also implemented 38 battery security safeguards, including a special temperature management algorithm that keeps the battery temperature below 43°C (110°F) while charging. The phone’s lithium batteries, according to Realme, will retain 80% of their capacity after 1,000 charging cycles.
The Realme GT Neo3 is available in black, Silverstone silver, and Le Mans blue. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage trim of the Realme GT Neo3 costs CNY 1,999 ($314), or approximately Rs. 23,900. The 8/128GB model costs CNY 2,299 ($360), or approximately Rs. 27,500, while the 12/256GB model costs CNY 2,599 ($408), or approximately Rs. 31,000.
