Google announces the Best Android Apps of 2021

Following its yearly trend, Google declared the winners of Google Play Best and announced the best Android apps of 2021, games of 2021 for India under categories like User’s choice, Best app, Best game, and many more. The company emphasized on the strategy like every year that a “great app or game can come from anywhere, whether you’re a large or a rising developer.”

Developed by Tech-enthusiasts and entrepreneurs from Bengaluru, Bitclass was selected as the Best App of the year in India. According to Google, the app shows the “emergence of a digital learning culture in India fuelled by innovative localized solutions.” In free as well as paid versions, this app provides a diverse range of online lectures and sessions of cooking, personal finance, dancing, singing, etc.

The Global Head of Editorial said in a blog post, “In India, once again, we saw a diverse range of apps help people across the country with relevant – and often unique – solutions to their daily needs. This year, we saw a distinctive rise in e-learning, with many winners finding creative ways to help India learn a range of skills online, be it mastering a passion through celebrity-led virtual classes with FrontRow, or using AI to scale student learning outcomes with Embibe.”

FrontRow was awarded to be one of the Best Apps for fun. Embibe is titled the Best App for Personal Growth.

Google announced Houzz, Canva, and Concepts: Sketch, Note, Draw as the Best Apps for Tablets of 2021. It also announced My Fitness Pal, Calm, and Sleep Cycle: Sleep Analysis & Smart Alarm Clock as the Best Apps for Wear.

India’s increasing fondness for audio and video-based platforms made Clubhouse the Users’ Choice App of 2021 for India.

For the gaming fanatics, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) from Krafton has been titled the Best Game of the year in India. Garena Free Fire Max was awarded the Users’ Choice Game of the year. People have been gaining an appreciable interest in gaming in our country.

Xiaomi is rumored to be resurrecting the Mi CC smartphone line in the near future. New variants of the all-but-abandoned series are expected to arrive with high display refresh rates and possibly premium-grade rear cameras. They’re also expected to make an appearance alongside a Mi Watch 2 with a brand-new Qualcomm platform Wear 5100.

Xiaomi is rumored to be resurrecting the Mi CC moniker in 2021. The 9 series marked the end of the once-popular flagship killer-type smartphone line; however, their rumored successors are said to go all the way to 11 to match the OEM’s current flagships.

Xiaomi Mi Watch 2 Probable Specifications

As a result, they’re expected to debut as the CC 11 and 11 Pro, respectively, powered by Snapdragon 778G and 870 SoCs. A 90Hz AMOLED display and a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP main sensor and a telephoto lens are rumored for the vanilla variant.

Nothing Ear 1 TWS Earbuds will be launched on July 27th.

Nothing, On July 27 will introduce its Ear 1 true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones. The earbuds will be the first product from the business, which was founded last year by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei. Nothing is supported by GV (previously Google Ventures) and has investors such as iPod co-founder Tony Fadell and Twitch Co-Founder Kevin Lin. The Nothing Ear 1 TWS earbuds might make its debut as a rival to the likes of Apple’s AirPods and Samsung’s Galaxy Buds.

Nothing will host the launch of the Ear 1 TWS earbuds on July 27 at 2 p.m. BST (6:30 pm IST). The earbuds will be the first product of OnePlus Co-Founder Carl Pei’s new firm, which he founded in October of last year after leaving Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi.

According to Nothing, the earbuds combine “transparency, iconic form, and refined functionality” in a single package. The transparent look of the new product might be one of its key differentiators from competitors. Nothing created the Ear 1 in collaboration with Stockholm-based electronics firm Teenage Engineering early this year.

It also acquired the smartphone startup Essential, which was formerly owned by Andy Rubin another maker of Android.

Nothing revealed last month that the Ear 1 earphones will be available in June. Pei, on the other hand, has hinted that the initial intentions could be delayed. “We’re almost there, and there are a few details to finalize,” he wrote on Twitter.

Nothing is planning to make its TWS earbuds accessible for purchase in India, as well as other regions across the world. Manu Sharma, a Samsung executive, has been appointed as the company’s India market chief. It also just announced a collaboration with Flipkart.

According to market research company Counterpoint, the worldwide market for TWS earbuds will increase by 33% year on year in 2021, reaching 310 million units. Due to the economic crisis caused by the pandemic, the market has already seen a quicker increase of low- to mid-end models over top-end brands. In such case, a new entrant like as Nothing must consider competitive price for its new product in order to obtain early sales growth.
