On July 12, Nothing Phone (1) will officially go on sale in India and across the globe. The tech company led by Carl Pei in London has just released its first smartphone. Prior to this, Nothing released ear (1) wireless earbuds for Rs 6,999. According to the company’s previously unveiled design, the Nothing Phone (1) will have a form factor similar to the iPhone 12, which means a boxy design and a dual rear camera setup that looks similar. However, the transparent design approach of the ear (1) will serve as inspiration for the design.

Nothing Phone (1) price in India (expected)

The price of the Nothing Phone (1) and other information have been leaked in advance of the launch. While some rumors claim that the Nothing Phone (1) will compete with iPhones, others claim that the smartphone will be much less expensive than some of the most recent iPhone models, costing somewhere around Rs 30,000. Variants or exact pricing have not yet been disclosed.

Nothing Phone (1) features and specifications confirmed

The design comes first. The Nothing Phone’s design will undoubtedly be its most notable feature (1). The upcoming smartphone will feature LED lights that alert users when there is a new notification or call, as well as display the battery charge status, in a transparent design that mimics its ear (1). The internals is not visible despite the transparent design. Instead, the rear panel is constructed in a way that closely resembles the device’s internals being visible. The design is undoubtedly unique compared to other phones.

The notification LEDs on the Nothing Phone (1), which are timed to flash in distinctive patterns in response to each custom sound, are among its most significant features. These notification LEDs will inform users of incoming calls, notify them of new notifications, display the battery level, and more. The business has disclosed that users of the Nothing Phone (1) will be able to pair particular contacts with individual ringtones, each of which has a Glyph pattern. They will be able to alter the pattern of one-on-one contact as a result.

The tech company has also confirmed that a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778+ chipset, not a Snapdragon 800 series chip, will power the Nothing Phone (1). The Motorola Edge 30 is one of a few other phones that features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778+ SoC.

The company has already stated that the Nothing Phone (1) will run on Android 12 based on Nothing OS. The business recently released the beta version of the Nothing launcher, which has a minimalistic design that is somewhat reminiscent of OxygenOS and iOS.

The business disclosed that the Nothing Phone (1) will be sold on Flipkart even though the sale date hasn’t been officially confirmed. The tech behemoth hasn’t yet provided any information regarding its offline sales approach.
