WhatsApp will be blocked on 53 smartphones from November – The full list

Millions of devices will be barred from using WhatsApp starting next month, with users being advised to upgrade their software.

In a few weeks, the messaging platform will be unavailable for more than 50 different phone models.

WhatsApp will no longer be supported on 53 phone models as of November 1st.

It won’t function on Android phones running OS 4.0.4 or earlier, and it requires iOS 10 or later on iPhones.

Android and Apple device owners have been advised to upgrade their devices or software.

Existing accounts will be re-enabled when upgrading to a new device if the phone number connected with it is entered.

People can preserve their conversation history even if it isn’t possible to move it between platforms, such as from Android to iPhone.

Before November, you may do this by exporting conversation history as an email attachment.

People may check the settings section on their phone to see what operating system it runs.

WhatsApp will be blocked, application which is owned by Facebook, refreshes its support centre to show which systems it supports on a regular basis.
