We’ve entered July, and the OnePlus Nord, the handset that launched the company’s mid-range line, is nearing the end of its first year. OnePlus will commemorate the day by releasing the long-awaited sequel. The Nord 2 will bring significant improvements, and some of the features we can expect in the new smartphone have been announced today. Furthermore, it appears that the business has inadvertently revealed the OnePlus Nord 2 release date of July 22.
According to OnePlus, the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 will be used in the OnePlus Nord 2. This will be the first OnePlus smartphone to use MediaTek processors. It demonstrates how the Taiwanese company is regaining relevance with its excellent Dimensity range. OnePlus, however, adds that this is a customized version of the Dimensity 1200 SoC.
“THE COLLABORATIVE AI WORK COMPLETED ON TOP OF MEDIATEK’S DIMENSION OPEN RESOURCE ARCHITECTURE BRINGS A NUMBER OF NEW AI-BASED FEATURES TO THE ONEPLUS NORD 2 5G TO ENHANCE THE USER EXPERIENCE ACROSS VARIOUS TOUCHPOINTS. According to OnePlus, the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 will have superior camera performance. AI Color Boost Technology will also be used to boost the device’s display technology. With low latency, effective thermal management, and low power consumption, it will provide a better gaming experience. Dimensity 1200-AI will be the name given to the new chipset.
